Woolhandling- Competitors participating in the competitions at The Royal Ulster, Staffordshire Show, The Royal Highland Show, Lochearnhead Shears, Corwen, Royal Welsh Show and The Black Isle Show. Five sets of points will be required to qualify, the winner will be the competitor with the highest placed points. Rule for a tie for first place will be the number of wins from five shows. Novice woolhandlers need only submit 3 sets of points. 

Points will only be awarded to those entered in the circuit prior to the circuit commencing. Best placed at each show will receive 12 points and 1 point less per lower placing thereafter.  Competitors in all disciplines will receive an additional point for attending each of the Scottish competition events.

Individuals chosen to represent Scottish Shearing will fit the qualifying Scottish criteria and are chosen subject to the discretion of the committee, the decision of which is final.
